What is a "Shadow Catcher?"

This moniker was bestowed upon Edward S. Curtis by Native Americans in the early 1900's when he used his camera to capture over 40,000 images of their people, tribes and ways of life. His distinctive and beautiful images are a timeless testimony to his passion for and dedication to these people. Please read more about the life of the "Shadow Catcher" at the PBS site or on Wikipedia.

Each person at Shadow Catchers is also passionate about images and people, continually striving to provide beautiful designs, outstanding value, and extraordinary service.

For more than 30 years, Shadow Catchers has been producing quality artwork and wall decor for retail stores and design projects throughout North America and internationally. In a line that spans contemporary and traditional designs of beautifully framed prints and canvases, fans cite the company’s attention to detail and manufacturing prowess. Working closely with designers, decorators and retail store buyers, the design team pulls from a vast selection of unique imagery, solid wood moldings, various mediums, and mounting techniques to distinguish their designs, providing quality craftsmanship and incredible value to our customers and ultimately an exemplary product and experience to the end user. The fruits of these practices are not only reflected in the breadth of exquisite products, but most importantly the solid relationships built on decades of excellence.
